ALEXIACAMILLE

JEWELRY MADE WITH LOVE, POWERED BY ONE BOLD HEART

Models left and right: Mina Millery and Chiquita McKenzie

There’s a magic that happens when you put on that perfect piece of jewelry — the one that makes you stand taller, smile wider, and feel ready to conquer the world. It’s like slipping into your own personal armor, but instead of hiding, you shine even brighter.

That feeling is exactly what AlexiaCamille is all about.

"I want my clients to feel special — to embrace who they are and express themselves fully," says the brand’s founder, designer, and one-woman powerhouse. "When you love yourself, you naturally radiate that love out into the world."

At AlexiaCamille, love isn't just a philosophy — it’s a core material, as essential as the precious and semi-precious stones and metals used in every piece. Each design is crafted with intention, celebrating individuality, strength, and the beauty of being unapologetically you.

This spirit came to life beautifully during the recent brand shoot on April 26th, featuring models Chiquita, Sade, Kimmy, Mina, and Alnisha. Shot by Photos By PDrew and directed by Tawana Blassingame, the shoot captured the essence of AlexiaCamille — bold, radiant, and overflowing with heart. Each model brought their own unique energy, embodying the power and confidence that AlexiaCamille jewelry inspires.

Whether it’s a bold statement piece, a limited-edition treasure, or a one-of-a-kind custom creation, every item is infused with heart, soul, and a deep belief in the power of self-love. And with just one set of hands behind every design, the brand remains deeply personal — a true labor of love from start to finish.

"Jewelry should be a celebration of who you are — bold, beautiful, and uniquely you." — AlexiaCamille

So the next time you’re looking for something that doesn’t just complete your look, but elevates your spirit, remember: AlexiaCamille is here to help you celebrate yourself — with love, one powerful piece at a time.

Meet the brains behind AlexiaCamille

QSM: What inspired you to start AlexiaCamille, and how did you know jewelry was your calling?

Camille: I fell in love with jewelry making from the first time I melted metal.  I’ve always loved creating and working with my hands. (When I was younger, I’d planned on going into fashion design). But something about taking materials from the Earth, metals and stone, and creating something beautiful and meaningful…it’s just the best feeling!  The idea for the business came from a gift I made for my brother.  He liked bead bracelets but was tired of everything he was finding in the market.  I made him something custom, that he hadn’t been able to find anywhere.  He loved it, as did many other friends and family members.  Requests started coming in and I realized I could spread love and joy through this gift I’d been given of jewelry making.  I took off from there.

QSM: You mention that love is at the core of every piece you create — how did that philosophy shape the brand from day one?

Camille: Well, like I said, the business started from a gift.  I wanted to make someone I love happy.  Now, while it may not be the same as someone I know personally, I love all my clients, and I want to make them happy.  It’s one of the reasons why I pursued one of a kind, and limited quantities- it makes it that much more precious.  Something very few, or even no other person has- that knowledge makes a person feel special. And if it’s a custom piece it’s even better because I get to know the clients a little and love them that much more which is channeled into the work I do for them.

QSM: Being a wife and working in corporate America, how do you stay inspired and motivated to keep creating and growing?

Camille: Well, to be honest, part of my motivation is to get out of corporate America.  Being a wife is also motivating as I want to give my husband the option to leave corporate whenever as well.  I want our later years to be filled with time to be together and have adventures.  Granted, the process of growing AlexiaCamille is an adventure on its own and having him with me is everything.  Inspiration is limitless and when it gets hard, or I get frustrated, I think of what I’m moving away from (corporate) and what I’m moving towards (a fuller, richer life experience with my Love) and there is no other choice but to keep going and growing.

QSM: How do you approach designing a new piece? Is it more feeling, story, or visual inspiration that leads the way?

Camille: It depends on the piece.  I’ve gotten inspiration taking walks through the neighborhood and seeing the wrought iron designs of doors and fences or other types of architecture.  I get very inspired by seeing different stones in a bead store or crystal shop.  I’ve also gotten random inspiration in the shower!  It can just come.  I keep a sketch pad with me to jot down when ideas pop up.  When I know I’m doing work with beads, I tend to sit with quite a few different stones in front of me and let them “tell” me what they want to become.  No, I don’t hear voices, but I get a feeling which leads to the vision that gets created.  I hope that makes sense.

QSM: You use both precious and semi-precious materials — how do you select the stones and metals that become part of your pieces?

Camille: It starts with the purpose of the piece.  If I’m creating something to have a certain meaning, I use the stones that represent that meaning.  If I’m creating for a season, or theme I’ll choose stones based more on color and the look and/or vibe I’m going for.  Generally, metals are chosen based on which best compliments the stones I’m using.  If it’s an all metal piece, the technique and style come into play.  For example, a very intricate wire wrapped piece or something requiring metalsmithing and soldering will most likely be done in silver because it’s softer and easier to form than stainless steel.  If I’m making a custom piece, the materials are chosen based on the conversations I’ve had with the client and their preferences.

QSM: Do you have a favorite piece you've ever made — one that felt extra special to you?

Camille: There’s nothing as special as your first time.  The first piece I ever made is still one of my all-time favorites.  It’s this big cocktail ring with a large purple stone in the center.  I’m not even sure what kind of stone it is, but it’s 100% me.  I remember being in class and everyone else was making these simple rings with small round stones, and I went for…let’s just say something much more ambitious and labor intensive.  But I did it, and I love to this day.

QSM: Let’s talk about your very first photo shoot for AlexiaCamille? What was the experience like for you?

Camille: The experience was amazing.  A little nerve wrecking at first, just because I wanted everything to go smoothly.  It was a huge learning experience- seeing what really goes into a professional shoot with models.  I’ve done product shoots, but arranging people and putting together looks is quite a different ball game.

QSM: When it came to selecting models to represent the brand, what qualities were you looking for?

Camille: I was looking for as much diversity as I could get.  I always say my work may not be for everybody, but it is for anybody that it speaks to.  I wanted a bit of quirkiness and openness.  Open hearts.

QSM: What's one memorable moment (good, funny, or even chaotic!) from working on set that you’ll never forget?

Camille: I actually think it was good, funny and chaotic all at once.  It was when the models came in and we were going over the wardrobe.  I had predetermined which pieces we were shooting and who was wearing which piece, and we gave guidelines as to the kinds of clothes, etc.  But I didn’t fully realize going in, that I would be wearing the hat of stylist as well.  I don’t know why, or what I thought would happen instead, I just wasn’t expecting that.  But as I jumped in and started putting the looks together, I realized how natural it was.  My whole life had prepared me for this.

QSM: What has been the biggest lesson you've learned since launching AlexiaCamille?

Camille: The power of perseverance and adaptability.  It’s such a great thing when you decide “I’m going for this and I’m not going to give up.”  And that’s often a daily decision; sometimes a multi-time a day decision.  But, every day you make it, you’re one step closer.  Also, while looking ahead to where you want to be, take time to look at where you were, where you are and acknowledge and celebrate how far you’ve come.  That’s how you enjoy the journey.

QSM: Looking ahead, what are your dreams for the future of the brand — any exciting projects or collections in the works?

Camille: My dreams for AlexiaCamille’s future- to be known as the brand you go to when you want to feel your most You.  The brand that’s all about love and acceptance and the joy that comes with it.  I also want to start philanthropic projects.

As for collections, there’s several coming down the pike.  I’ve developed a slight obsession with hematite, so there’s going to be quite a bit more of that.  I’ve also got what I call the Medallion collection coming; and more.  As I said, inspiration is in limitless supply.  This brain doesn’t stop so there’s always something.
