Welcome to the October 2014 issue of Queen Size Magazine. This year is just slipping away from us. In a couple more months 2014 will be coming to a close. For those of you that made New Year’s resolutions but have yet to reach those goals; now is the time to begin. There is no time like the present and tomorrow is not promised, so let’s get to it.

As we know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and it is also Domestic Violence Awareness month. In this issue we will focus our attention on both issues as they are both equally as important. This issue is dedicated to all that have lost their battles, still fighting and the survivors of Breast Cancer. This issue is also dedicated to the Men AND Women who have died at the hands of another due to Domestic Violence; everyone in relationships where these behaviors exist, and all that have escaped with their lives.

We all owe it to ourselves as a human race to do all we can to raise awareness for these issues. I guarantee you that we all have been either directly or indirectly affected by both of these issues.

A very special dedication to the family and friends of the beautiful Ms. Masako “Saki” Griffin. Ms Griffin was very well known model in the Fashion industry. She unfortunately loss her life way too soon due to Domestic Violence. I am sure she is tearing up the runway in heaven.
