Once again The Swim Soiree hosted by the PlusSizeMePlz Brand was a huge success. But this year’s event came with much more. August 2018 marked the inauguration for Philadelphia Curve Weekend. The weekend was filled with lot so social activities for the plus size community. Friday consisted of a Curves and Canvas gathering where guest got to do something that we all seem to enjoy so much, whether we can or cannot; PAINT (there was some sipping involved as well). Saturday was the highly anticipate Swim Soiree. And Sunday consisted of the Curvy Cookout with involved lots of fun outdoor activities. I think it is safe to say that the PlusSizeMePlz brand delivered.


We had the honor of attending and covering the Swim Soiree again this year hosted by Monica Day and FRANKNTHECITY. And it was great catching up with some of our faves from the industry, while finding some new faves. Nothing but body positivity in the Bamboo Bar that day. Fun, Fashion and Fabulosity. Our friends Pretty Big Movement was in the building once a gain. We also got to see some fashions from The Massive CollectionSOS Denim and Mylk & Honey Clothier


PlusSizeMePlz is an inclusive brand designed to celebrate, uplift and empower the full figured woman; through forums, events and online platform followed by well over 30k supporters of the brand. A subsidiary of the Catherine Ashly brand, PlusSizeMePlz was launched in the Philadelphia market to fill the gap in the disparity of social and informative outlets for women with curves.
